NewWhat kind of spending?

Mon, 05/02/11
The poll also found that 54 percent of respondents believe the government does not spend enough on public education. But that number drops to 38 percent when they are asked specifically about the $9,000 for each student per year.

I wonder what people are defining as enough ‘spending’. Do they think that teachers don’t get paid enough? That the facilities are inadequate? That the curriculum needs updating/replacing? That schools need to adapt to new technology? All of the above?
