…for me is when my kids, when approached with a question of significance, respond with “I feel like”. I’ve started rebuking that by saying “when it is a question like this, your brain should be engaged, not just your feelings.” This is a good article that is a good start in addressing this sort of thing.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
