Agree with much of what Samuel has to Sey. His point regarding the myth of neutrality needs to be shouted from the rooftops. Indeed, secularism itself is a myth. Everyone has a religious worldview - no exceptions - and we need to reject the premise of neutrality out of hand.

I also observe that a simple cure for much of what is called "Christian Nationalism" is a consistent dispensational theology. Huh.

I too appreciated this article. I have asked many times for clarification on this subject from others on SI, but that does not mean I want to adapt the term of "Christian Nationalism" nor promote many if its ideas. This article was careful to distinguish between wanting Christian values and wanting to have Christian domination. Part of my concern in wanting clear definitions is because I was very aware of one of the points he made in the article:

Also, as I mentioned in my review of Taking America Back for God: Christian Nationalism in the United States, according to the authors of that book and other leftists, if you’re a Christian with a Biblical view on race, gender, and sexuality — you’re a Christian nationalist.
