MacArthur is a special man for many of us. A number of top leaders who greatly influence baby boomers are very elderly, like MacArthur, Swindoll, Jeremiah ; some are with the Lord (like Wiersbe), others incapacitated (like Dr. James Dobson). The Lord is raising up other leaders, but these lived during a sort of golden age for influential Christian leaders. It will be hard to lose MacArthur when the time comes.
