Keep in mind that the price, too often, for opposing Hamas in Gaza is death. These are some extremely brave people, and I praise God for them. As the article notes, they're not perfect, nor in 100% agreement with me by any means, but I'm glad someone is speaking up.

I am generally pro-Israel in this regard, but I do not envy the job of the planners whose job it is to figure out how to best disable and destroy Hamas. The ugly reality is that the hatred and viciousness seems to be ingrained in their society to the point where people will crowd the streets and cheer as the body of a woman who was gang raped and murdered is openly paraded down the street. You can kill all of their fighters, and with their birth rates, they will have an army again if they are supplied.

Perhaps the best way of destroying Hamas is to destroy the Iranian conduits for their weapons, and unfortunately, a country called "Russia" seems to be fond of what Iran and the Taliban are doing. It's a hard nut to crack. There are apparently many people who will cheer and rejoice as they send missiles into elementary schools, hospitals, and the like.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
