....about all the "spare bodies" we already have hogging the left lane, voting,....

OK, seriously, it also stands to reason that we had such a test case with Terri Schiavo, and we have that with many others who are in a persistent vegetative state, in a coma, and the like. Somebody who wants a new kidney, liver, heart, etc., has got to be looking longingly at the nursing homes caring for these people.

And I guess the difficult part is to ask "what's the Bible's response?". I guess one starting point would be the death of Nabal, who died ten days after suffering a stroke (?), and in a situation where his foolishness and wickedness was apparent to all. So even in a case where the world would see he wasn't worthy of life, he wasn't killed. On the flip side, those who did kill were held to the judgment of God.

Another example of the same thing might be Jehoram.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
