NewA key question

Tue, 06/10/25

One key question that one ought to ask when creating and maintaining systems to prevent and report child abuse/sexual abuse/etc. is "How would you defend this policy if you were on the witness stand being questioned by an aggressive plaintiff's attorney?". I've found that when I put things in this context, a lot of debates over what is, and is not, permissible disappear because people realize "I would look like a total idiot trying to defend this.".

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
