I use some of the material which Open Doors produces, especially their monthly prayer calendar. I called them to ask about their doctrinal statement, since I could not find a copy on their website. The person I talked to seemed uncertain if they had one, but thought they did. After several days, no one contacted me, so I called back. Another person told me they did not have a doctrinal statement. I asked how they make any evaluation of whether someone is being persecuted for being a Christian if they didn’t have a doctrinal statement. That person said that as long as someone “believes in Jesus”, then that is good enough for them.
