Bethany Christian Will Allow LGBT Parents to Foster and Adopt

They have forfeited the honor of calling themselves Christian.

This is what I posted on our church’s social media yesterday regarding this blasphemy:

A faithful Christian organization would never do this. There exists an objectively “proper” ordering for the family, and a people and a society will only flourish to the extent they imitate that “proper” order. There are terrible downstream effects for children and society to twisting the created order, and this Christian agency is now complicit.

The Christian position is not about irrational hate, even though some charlatan politicians and preachers continue to give that impression. It’s about LOVE, in that we desire people to know our Creator’s pattern and intention for true peace and happiness. We’ll only want to know about this if we join God’s community.
