What kind of religion calls itself by a being they don’t even believe in? I lean toward the view that this is pretty much a club organized around a malicious purpose (breed confusion about religion and religious liberty and promote extreme secularism).

On the other hand, belief that there is no God is a religious belief. All humans who give the ultimate questions any thought at all are religious in that sense. But as far as groups go, I’d call it a “secularist club with a few quasi-religious beliefs.”

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.
