I find that all of the Christian writers are writing about anxiety and fear of death. The only place I am hearing about this anxiety and fear of death is within the Christian community, as they try to combat these feelings. I personally, do not know of anyone having anxiety or fear of death. 92 people have died with an average age greater than 8 and most have 2 or more underlying conditions. I do not know any of my Christian or secular friends who are worried about dying from this. What I do see, is people more or less trying to be careful to protect others. If there is anxiety it is around whether we will have toilet paper and how big of an economic impact this will have. I personally think the Christian writers are missing the boat here. How to Help Your Teens Overcome Their Coronavirus Fear? Really? We had a whole slew of them over at our house and I have two of them. I wouldn’t characterize any of them having fear. No one under the age of 10 has died in the world over this and practically no one under the age of 19. In fact for all intents and purposes what we are seeing right now is that if a teen does get the virus, we wouldn’t even know it. They are more upset that they can’t go to the store. What we should be teaching them is why it is important to stay isolated, and how that correlates with Scripture.
