Many government studies have been done that find that the “wage gap” is really an “employment choices gap”, too, but the left is entirely capable of ignoring their own studies for the sake of their positions, sad to say. And the risk of ignoring this is well stated by Carter; it is the reality that we will end up with government telling our wives they’re going to be loggers and infantrymen, no matter what they want.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
