Sounds like we’re going to have to tell Hoosiers jokes instead of blonde jokes from now on. I”ll start.

Did you hear about the Hoosier who starved to death under the Gateway Arch? He was waiting for the McDonald’s to open!

(bonus; in St. Louis, “Hoosier” is mildly derogatory and refers to an ignorant person)

Seriously, it takes a real Hoosier, apparently, not to figure out that Klansmen tend not to show their faces while wearing their bedsheets for obvious reasons. Maybe they need to watch Blazing Saddles to come up to speed.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

Goes to show how ignorant the general public has become about all things concerning religion.

I heard Dan Kimball (a Pastor in Santa Cruz CA) say that a guy approached him about this “resurrection” thing that he heard so much about and in all seriousness asked…”So, was Jesus like a Zombie or something?”

One of my fondest memories from the year I spent at Grace College (Winona Lake, IN) was trick-or-treating with a black friend of mine as KKK members. Can’t count the hoots and hollers that we got - only to see my buddy Al’s black hand waving back at them. Law enforcement eventually showed up looking for some action. It was funny to see the expressions change when Al took his hood off.

You know SI has reached it’s own Downgrade, when a reference to that movie shows up in a thread!

NewHoods

I have seen KKK pose in photos without their hoods on.

… in defense of the Hoosiers. Though they don’t generally just walk around that way.

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.

Or we did when most of us watched enough of the movie to get the joke? :^)
