“Among 13- to 17-year-old teenagers, 45 percent believe many religions may be true, far outpacing the 31 percent who believe only one religion is true, Pew said. A much smaller portion, 15 percent, believe there is little to no truth in any religion, and 8 percent believe no religion is true.” - BPNews

NewPoorly chosen question

It’s not very useful to put the question that way. There is some truth in every religion, and no “religion” is 100% true…. so. If they’re aware of that, the “amost half” kids are pretty much correct. I’d like to see Pew ask this, qualifying the question with something like “in their central claims” or something like that.

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.
