Yes, apparently a good bit of poor reasoning from sources.

  • So and so spoke somewhere of premise A
  • Therefore so and so supports my conclusion

But to get to the conclusion (committed monogamous homosexual couples have a biblically legit. relationship etc) you need a couple more premises, and the people quoted not only didn’t state those premises but in several cases have clearly and publicly taught doctrine contrary to the conclusion.
