Thank you for sharing, Aaron.

For those who read the previous installments, I have substantially rewritten the whole thing, adding almost 30,000 more words (it’s now almost 87,000 word total) and rewriting much of the rest. Obviously, there is still much in it that is the same, but I believe that there are enough changes to make it worth rereading for those interested. Some chapters are relatively the same, and some chapters are new.

This account of God’s work in John’s life has challenged me and moved me to tears of sorrow and of joy. It has made me recall God’s relentless pursuit of sinners, including myself. It has also caused me to examine myself. It is is not an attack on fundamentalism or IFB. I appreciate John’s honesty and transparency. He has done us a service.
