ProPublica did a great story on the “Great Lie”, and they traced many of the theories down to their very source, and it is quite shocking. For example, their was the theory that ballots were flown in. It was discarded early on, but somehow continued to gain traction in places like the Arizona audit. They found the very individual who started the idea (an airline employee who was disgruntled with his co-workers), and traced it through the conspiracy engine into the Big Lie. Very interesting how these things just grow as a cog inside of a big machine.
