NewThe old proverb

Mon, 06/10/19

There is an old proverb/witticism in medical circles about doctors being able to bury their mistakes. Looks like it’s not working out terribly well in the Netherlands, as about one in 20-25 deaths is by euthanasia—total deaths in the Netherlands are about 150,000 annually. And to be very blunt about the matter, bad things can and will happen when insurers, prospective heirs, and doctors all can benefit from euthanasia, and the reversal in euthanasia reporting numbers does indeed indicate that doctors (and others) are covering their tracks vs. a system that is entirely inadequate.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
