With all the hullaballoo about music styles flying around out there, I think this is a really good thing—no better way to get the “feel” of the music God originally wrote for His people than to sing it, and I think that will give valuable insight into the topics, complexity, and (if every once in a while read/sung in Hebrew) even the poetic devices He gave them. Plus, the poetry is good.
