Is There a Wholesome Alternative to Christian Nationalism?

Until we agree on a definition the discussion is pointless. If I were confident that Miller and Green had the same definition of Christian Nationalism, then this article would make more sense. Until that is clear then it seems to be creating needless division amongst believers to score political points. That approach can also be damaging to the cause of Christ.

Yes, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God”. We replace Trump with Jesus Christ our King.

Is support for Trump one of the definitions of Christian Nationalism now? Is it possible for someone to be a Christian Nationalist without supporting Trump? If someone promotes theonomy or dominion theology but not Trump are they a Christian Nationalist? If someone is simply patriotic and believes that we should focus on legislation that strengthens the United States so that we are in a better position to help others and that person is also a Christian, are they a Christian Nationalist?

Nothing wrong w American exceptionalism either! There are better and worse countries. Who could possibly put the United States and a country like say Somalia on the same plane! There’s a reason immigrants flock here!

The problem is that if you are a Christian and believe in American exceptionalism there will be those who call you a Christian Nationalist- especially if you held your nose and voted for Trump.
