By Jim on Sat, 07/29/17 Society & Culture Weird The Supreme Court released its ruling on Thursday, noting that the lower court had no authority to interfere in the church’s ecclesiastical matters, and overturning the firing of Pastor Taylor. So it appears that Taylor will remain pastor of the church, which likely now will only include his faction of eight, since each faction has been fighting to exclude the other group. Members of Taylor’s group include Taylor’s wife, Carolyn, the chairman of the trustees, who at a meeting in 2012 made a motion to seek a restraining order against founding church member Lenora Ray, who hosted the first services of the church in her home in 1993.
