I can remember a bunch of inner-city Christian community development workers at a national conference in the early 1990’s getting all excited that God was at work in Washington D.C. during the Clinton administration because Hillary Clinton was in Bible study run by evangelicals with several other politicians (both Democrats and Republicans.
