Not a math wiz… What would a base 10 figure of 50 be in base 50? 1? … more like 999995? No, there would have to be a set of letters or symbols to take the place of 10-49, right?

If I read your question right, 50 in Base 50 would be 250.
Read “e” as to the power of:
In base 10, the place values right to left are 10e0=1, 10e1=10, 10e2=100, 10e3=1,000, 10e4=10,000, etc.
In base 50, the place values right to left are 50e0=1, 50e1=50, 50e2=2,500, 50e3=125,000, 50e4=6,250,000.
So 50 in Base 50 = (5 * 50) + (0 * 1) = 250 in Base 10.

EDIT: Shoot, I read your question exactly backwards. To translate a Base 10 “50” into Base 50, it would actually be 10 —> (1 * 50) + (0 * 1). And you are right that if you were 49 in base 10, you’d have to have some letter or symbol to represent that. Hexadecimal goes up to F as 15 in Base 10.
I didn’t want to be “250, ” anyway! About all I remember from base system conversions is my brain basically saying “nope, not going to learn that.” Must have ‘simulated’ learning just long enough to pass a test.

Nobody ever knows what is next. Fifty is probably a good time to start updating and checking your beneficiary designations. Are you certain your retirement benefits, life insurance, investment accounts, and bank and other accounts have the correct beneficiary designations? When was the last time you updated your will?
What’s an estate? You mean like Wisconsin or Minnesota? ;)
