….to have it come from the legislature. This just sets it up for the courts, whereby advocates of juvenile reassignment surgery will shop for a liberal set of judges and make the misery go all the way to SCOTUS.

Now of course, those same advocates would do the exact same thing if it were a law, but at least it’s a law, not just a bit of code written by social services. We Christians, especially homeschoolers, know from experience that social services directives very often do not survive judicial review. We should act on this knowledge.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
