I appreciate those who stand for what is right and decent. As an undershepherd, I have all the authority I need to break open the Word of Life and feed God’s sheep. This does not fall into my wheelhouse.
I’ve learned that if I wear Nike gear, nobody bats an eye if I don’t stand for the national anthem. j/k
Seriously, since the swoosh is advertising for them, I can see defacing the logo or donating the items to charity, but destroying it goes a bit far. Then to do so in a sermon? Um, no.
