President Stratton states, “We are indeed grateful for this new relationship with the IFCA. The practical outworking of our Christian walk at Clearwater Christian College seems to mirror that of many IFCA churches. We look forward to supporting the IFCA through speaking and writing venues, and we are excited about sharing the opportunities for young people at CCC in many IFCA churches. We believe that this will be a strong, long-lasting relationship for many years to come.”
I sort of expected NIU to do that before CCC
Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.
Great choice for CCC to forge a relationship with the IFCA. Most excellent! CCC will be a help to the IFCA and the IFCA will be a help to the CCC. I know for a fact that many of the more conservative IFCA congregations already had a good relationship with the CCC. Love the fact that the relationship is now “official.” Thrilled! Straight Ahead to our friends at Clearwater!

Don suggesting a potential value that Clearwater would receive from joining a fellowship of churches isn’t “judging motive”. Its suggesting a reason in answer to a specific question raised. Students do bring $$ to colleges. It’s no more wrong to join a fellowship (you agree with) in order to increase the pool of potential students than it is to advertise.
Even Don’s tag isn’t necessarily accusatory to CCC. More tuition dollars is a clear reason for them to do what they’ve done.

Everything west of Chicago is Chicago. Thankfully Clearwater is east. Again, congrats to them from one who almost went there and had 3 siblings graduate from there.
Cheers CCC.
Enjoy the fellowship.

Several years ago I met a man from Illinois who told me he was from Chicago-Peoria to be exact.
