New Sex Ed Funding Ends Decade of Abstinence-Only National Abstinence Education Association estimates 169 abstinence programs serving 1 million teens nationwide will lose millions in funding. Those programs have received about $100 million a year in direct funds since 2005.

It consisted of:
- A booklet about how periods work … the sperm and the egg, etc
- A film in health class about syphilis (black and white (thankfully!!) … I think from WW II))
- A schoolmate had a http://goo.gl/LoOu] Visible Woman Kit (this was the 8th grade) and he tried splainin’ how the parts worked.
I wasn’t saved then and so I can speak candidly. We all knew about rubbers … but you couldn’t buy one.Federal funding for all of this …. zero
