We are church planting in the I-29 corridor- we live only about 2 miles from I-29 in the Sioux Falls area. We moved here about 6 months ago to plant a church in this area. Sioux Falls was cited in the article. It is definitely growing- of the 230,000+ people in the Sioux Falls area, about 40,000 of them were added since the year 2000. There are very few expository preaching churches serving in that area with 230K people. We are currently on deputation raising support for our church planting work here (We moved onto the mission field here before we raised our support). It is our desire to plant a church here in Worthing, SD- a community just south of Sioux Falls, and then to branch out to other communities in the Sioux Falls area or in Sioux Falls itself to plant other churches as well. There is a lot of work to do here. Please pray the Lord of the harvest that He would send laborers to the harvest. We are with Continental Baptist Mission and we would like to raise support so that we can focus not just on church planting in Worthing, but so that even after the church plant here is self supporting, we can then work with them to plant other churches in the area.
