NewBeing A Believer In Christ Should Be Complicated Everywhere

Thu, 10/06/11
Romans 12:1-2 etc. etc. The idea that any particular place or time is advantageous for the Christian may be one of the biggest deceptions. The Holy Spirit will equip the Christian to deal with whatever circumstances God has providentially placed that Christian into.

I hear it said very often how blessed we are in America to be able to worship free of intrusion or persecution, and also for our material wealth. This indeed is very true. But the Bible also calls the Christians that endure poverty, persecution and many other things for the sake of Jesus Christ blessed also. It is hard to be a Christian in the West Bank because of the political, economic and religious situation over there, but it is difficult to be a Christian in America because of a multitude of other reasons, and the same is true everywhere.
