Wikipedia bans editors from expressing support for traditional marriage

We might at one level simply note that we ought to be glad that Wiki—I confess often one of my favorite sources—is being honest about their finger being on the scale. One thing to note about this, though, is that as of yet, it’s just saying that contributors can’t have a box saying they support honest marriage. It’s not altogether clear whether providing actual evidence of its superiority in actual Wiki articles is prohibited.

But if it goes to that second step, what they’re saying is that they might end up prohibiting sharing some of the best work ever done in sociology—that emphasizes the importance of both a mother and father in the household. (one of the few things they actually know in that field according to some) So then that joins the 1960s era research on homosexuality that found any number of interesting correlations to adult homosexual behavior in being effectively banned from discussion.

That’s my thought. Their neutrality has been “dead” for a long time. They’re just finally owning it. No one should be surprised by this.
