NewQuantity vs. Quality

Fri, 11/16/12

The electoral impact is not determined so much by what proportion of evangelicals voted for Romney but rather by what proportion of evangelicals voted at all. The votes are still being counted, so it’s hard to tell for sure yet, but it appears that significant (possibly margin of victory) number of evangelicals sat this election out. Frankly I understand those people even less than I understand the evangelicals who voted for Obama. Even if you couldn’t bring yourself to vote for Romney or a third party candidate, there are still state and local races that matter.

NewNot surprised.

Since Willard’s policies have been in direct conflict with LDS teaching for most of his political career, most Mormons acted consistently with their professed beliefs.

Sad that Mormons more consistently practice their belief system that evangelicals.
