This is the crux of the hypocrisy. Surely the boy doesn’t get to decide if he only wants to eat ice cream for every meal. Surely the boy doesn’t decide if he wants to attend school. The list goes on. This is not about children having freedom to become whoever they want to become. It is nothing more than an attack on Christian mores.

It’s also an ideological attack on a child. I’m aware that the far left accuses Christians of doing the same thing by teaching children the faith. But it matters a tiny bit whether the “ideology” is true.
