Fairly obvious—don’t name the org after the founder or any one else, don’t stack the board with family members and people who depend on the leader for their jobs, insist on church membership and attendance by all leaders, etc.—but a needed reminder in light of what’s gone on.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
