This is the ultimate absurdity, but also the consummate clarification. It manifests what true Christians have known for a long time. Liberal Christianity is not Christian. If being an Atheist does not disqualify one from ordination and ministry within a so-called Christian church, what does? (Practically nothing, except, or course, “homophobia” or some such atrocity.)
