  • Raise the alarm: http://www.usdebtclock.org/
  • Participate in the electoral process (Although for me this sometimes seems like a waste of time)
  • Don’t rely solely on social security for retirement. This means: Saving. Preparing for the day when one cannot work.
  • Avoid needless debt.
  • Be prepared for inflation
  • Tell your children. They and their children will inherit this debt

Look to Greece … what is happening to them could very well be our future. Spain and Italy are also models of governments deep in debt
