Why would you pick someone to head up your academic affairs someone who is known for lying?

Raised as the son of a devout Muslim, Caner converted to Christianity along with his two brothers.

actually raised by his mother in Ohio after his parents divorced. Glad to see that they didn’t include anything more about his early life as his version is a complete fabrication.

Actually, the true story about Caner’s childhood and testimony is in the front of his first book and does not exaggerate or in any way lie. This book was published long before his alleged statements that some Muslims and some Hyper Calvinists have claimed were lies. Interesting that one who pushed this attack was a Hyper Calvinist who’s whole ministry career has been a lie as he claims a doctor degree from a store front seminary. That has been a continuing lie for him. Several moderate Calvinists defended Ergun Caner. However, it is surprising that he would take a position at this school. He is a good man with a powerful testimony.

Both Caner brothers have Muslim backgrounds and their upbringing was Muslim. Some were dismayed at the viciuos nature of the attacks by some Calvinists when the accusations against Caner occurred. The accusations were originally made by a Muslim on the internet. Some Calvinists attempted to use the accusations to discredit Ergun Caner who had spoken out repeatedly in opposition to Hyper Calvinism. It must be remembered that strong Calvinism (or Hyper) does come from a history that involved executions, wars, witch trials, and other vicious attacks. It is a theology that seems to generate unwarranted militancy against those who may disagree.

We who are recipients of unmerited grace and forgiveness need to show such grace and forgiveness in our judgment of others. We must refrain from exaggerations, and ungracious attitudes and seek to be ready for acceptance of restoration when it is merited. There are times when the unrighteous judgmental conduct by some is far worse than the sin they are trying to expose and judge.

But if in fact his book gives a different version of his testimony than the version he has told since 9/11, it just proves that the recent version of his testimony is manufactured (read a huge lie).

according to Caner’s father’s http://www.witnessesuntome.com/caner/Acar_Caner_Naturalization_duplicat…] Application for a new naturalization or citizenship , the family arrived in the USA on Sept 13, 1969 (#4).

Also notice (#8) that the father wrote “none” in answer to the question about being absent from the US since July 13, 1976.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ergun_Caner] wikipedia Caner was born on 3 November 1966.

Here are the facts based on this evidence:

1. 11/03/66 - birth
2. 09/13/69 - Came to America prior to his 3rd birthday (unless his parents left him in the country they lived in prior to coming to the USA)
3. 09/13/69 - 07/13/76 - Possibility that there was travel between the US and some other country.
4. 07/13/76 - after this date (and before the above document was submitted in 1981) the family did not leave the US. Caner was not yet 10 years old!

Conclusion:

Any testimony of Caner that references him coming to America as a teenager and having been raised in majority Muslim countries is a LIE!
