Thomas Slawson is a very funny man. He is also an intelligent and serious-minded missionary. I have had the privilege of ministering with him in St. Petersburg, Russia. He speaks Russian fluently. His wife grew up in our church, and together, they make an effective ministry team.

He has recently taken new leadership duties in his mission’s home office, which will allow him to obtain the medical attention needed by his oldest child. However, he will continue to travel to Russia for a portion of each year, to continue to develop the ministry for which he has already laid a good foundation.
