This is truly great news. A meaningless “sport” gets to put verses on a banner. As the father of a daughter, I hope she exercises enough discernment in life to not be a cheerleader, “christian” or otherwise.

1 Kings 8:60 - so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God and that there is no other.
