"They will all see you walking into the store with the eco-sensitive bag in hand. And that is what it's all about, right?"

If you have to wash those reusable shopping bags, how much environment are they saving? Reusable Crud

Long before it was cool to be environmentally conscious, I was using tote bags from Goodwill because I shop alot at Sam’s and Aldi’s which do not bag your groceries for you. If you put meat into a styrofoam cooler in the trunk of the car, you don’t have to use any plastic bags at all. But if you use the plastic bags they provide at the meat counter, you don’t risk cross contamination. Then if you turn the totes inside and hang them up outside, they get aired out, and if it rains, they also get washed.

Sheesh. City folk. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php] http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-confused002.gif
