How do you respond when secularists play that game?
I agree with them. The classical Romanists and Reformed Pseudo Romanists emerged as a pseudo Christianity and committed Satanic acts which could be unfairly be connected to Christ. People of true faith and later people of the book generally avoided all coercive measures and violence which is in keeping with the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ himself. I apologize for the violence in history done in the name of Christ.
