NewHmmmmm.....

Several thoughts….If he thinks that’s the “Most Embarrassing Question Ever”, he’s never taught a class of middle school boys. :-) Secondly, I believe this is the son or a near relative of the felon and largely disreputed self-proclaimed creationist “expert” Kent Hovind, is it not? Finally, upon investigating his credentials (or should I say, lack thereof), I would proffer that he has about as much foundation to presenting himself as a Creation Science spokesperson as, er……..I do.

In addition, I find his explanation wholly inadequate and it, quite frankly, raised more questions in my mind than it answered. But I won’t share those with you on this forum. 0__0 (You’re welcome.)

Oh and Ann….I’m going to file your little factoid under “Things I Now Know and Wish I Didn’t!” lol

Hey Dan,

Who said:

I think that this is true but is it relevant? Especially in light of Ezekiel 18:20, “The son shall not bear the guilt of the father”

Doesn’t Ezekiel 52:7 say “The apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree”?

Actually, I think it is relevant in that he appears to be in the “family business” and also looks to have had the professional credentials. I also don’t know that using Ezekiel 18:10 is a comparative exegesis for this scenario.

But I could be wrong….

my six year old son wanted to know the answer to this question just a couple of weeks ago?

Did you tell him: “So that men don’t look funny in bathing suits!”

‘Cause I like that one. Of course if we all wore T-shirts who would know!

News to me … I’ve had ‘em for 63 years!

My new nature defeated my old nature’s attempt to respond to this.

And I threw away my swimming suit. I had to. I tore a hole in the knee.

NewIt's answers like this guy

It’s answers like this guy gave that give Creationism a bad name. The logical inconsistencies in that answer are manifold.

There have been cases of men lactating, and Numbers 11:12, Isaiah 49:23 and possibly Job 21:24 refer to this.

But I’m comfortable saying I’m not entirely sure why men have nipples. Does the Bible have to give a scientific answer to every conceivable question?

Umm… i see no mention in those passages of men lactating. I think you are trying to hard.

NewOne reason...

Thu, 09/13/12

I don’t know if this was brought up yet, but I remember reading men have nipples because the fetus starts out in a sexless appearing state and then later develops features differently depending on if its a boy or girl. Nipples are just a residual feature from the earlier state.
