When wanting to read or listen to the Bible via an App, which is your favorite? Why is it your favorite?
I still use Bible Gateway on my computer, but on my phone App ads get in the way (no way to “x” out of them). I did a little research and added YouVersion Bible to my wife’s phone (she likes to listen to the Bible being read). I will probably soon add it to mine. What is your favorite and why?

NewMy current favorite app is…
My current favorite app is the Literal Word. It is quick and easy to use and not cluttered with a variety of other resources. Logos is powerful but agonizingly slow at times, and I really don't enjoy having to deal with ads.

I use You Version for listening and Logos for reading.
NewLogos, Bibleworks, and pocket Bible
Yes, I still use BW. I occasionally correspond with the now retired developer. Wish the company could have lasted, but such is life. The software still does its brilliant work for me every day. Pocket Bible by Laridian has some nice features on the phone, but I use the mobile version of Logos as well.

I use Power Bible a lot for the same reasons. There are things I can do with Bible Works that I cannot do with Power Bible, but Power Bible is great for cross reference and quick searches. I also use it for quickly pasting Bible verses into my notes or other writing.

On my computer I use Logos and Bibleworks primarily, occasionally Accordance. I use Logos on my tablet, and on my phone I have recently switched to Literal Word which I enjoy (before I was using YouVersion).

I use BibleWorks a lot, especially to generate as comprehensively as I can get lists of verses to study on whatever subjects I am studying. Although it is not a Bible application, I have profited immensely from using VBA in Excel to write macros for analyzing large amounts of biblical data in ways that BibleWorks does not allow, as far as I know.
