Comments are, of course, welcome. If you have seen demon possession serving on the mission field, etc., and are comfortable sharing about what countries/regions you have seen more of it than elsewhere, please do. For example, I have known missionaries to Haiti say it is frequent there.

You may also share experiences of other such phenomenon, if there are no problems with you doing so. For example, I know active missionaries have to be discreet about what they share so their supporters don’t think they are off the deep end. Some pastors are in the same position, so please comment with caution.

Although I personally have not had volumes of occult experience to address, I have had some, enough to know that is stuff is real and alive and well and to be of help. Not having served on the mission field, however, my experienced are limited to the Midwestern USA.

Having worked in a hospital, I have met a lot of drug addicts and I believe it is probable that many of them are influenced demonically.

NewAutomatic writing

Wed, 10/01/14

I knew a young Christian woman who practiced Automatic writing (a pre-conversion activity). As she matured as a Christian she shed this practice.

––––—

A young seminarian had his wife write his papers. He did very well in school. This wife-writing was not demonic but did not advance his career.
