I would be interested to know if anyone here has read or plans to read and apply this, as well as any who have read and applied principles described in the other title mentioned in the review, The Biblical Counseling Movement: History and Context, by Powlison. Do you use the primary nouthetic counseling priciples of Jay Adams’ works in your Biblical counseling, assuming counseling is an active part of your ministry? And are these “newer” approaches refining or contrasting works? Thanks for any insight.
