I have seen this process too many times in local churches that lose their purpose for existing. It is possible for a church to be so inward focused that it loses its ability to relate to the community around it. A church can also be so outward focused that it fails to edify and build up the believers in its own body. There really has to be a balance. Thanks for posting this article. It was a blessing.
