Pastor Brong served in the ministry for over 50 years and served as Pastor of the First Baptist Church Russell, IA and First Baptist Church Monroe, IA. Later he served as State Representative and Camp Director of the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

NewDon Brong
Don Brong was one of the role models God blessed me with as a teen and as a young pastor. He was my first boss when, as a 15 year old kid, I worked as a life guard at the Clear Lake camp. As a young pastor in my first church in Iowa he was a great source of encouragement and counsel. My prayer is that I would be as much a help and encouragement to young men as Don Brong was to me.
