Never will forget how persuasive and “scholarly” some poeple found this volume…. until they discovered that “G.A. Riplinger” was a woman and an interior decorator. Then they got really quiet.
For my part, the reasoning involved in it warranted the GARBAGE stamp from day one.

The only (ahem) doctorate I’ve ever seen her claim is the honorary one that Jack Hyles presented to her during the March, 1996 FBCH Pastor’s School.
Are you asking if I am kidding about Jack Hyles presenting Gail Riplinger with an honorary doctorate (from Hyles-Anderson College) during the March, 1996 FBCH Pastor’s school? If that’s what you are asking, no I’m not kidding. That actually happened.
On a more serious note, it would be much better to develop discernment in folks so that “heretical garbage” stamps in books aren’t necessary. But the thwak of a firm stamp… It would really be an enjoyable thing to do some of these volumes!

We “independents” have a tendency to “hamstring” ourselves by ignoring good council on such texts by learned fundamentalists outside our local body..In the short time I have been here I have benefited by concise, direct,biblical discernment on numerous issues. Much “heretical garbage” comes wrapped in a thin candy shell of carnal logic and will lead many astray …….I have chased many rabbits down the rabbit whole only to find the error at the end after much wasted time.
