NewA God Who is Blatantly Obvious

Thu, 02/25/16

I wholeheartedly agree with Mark. Rather than PROVE the existence of God, I should POINT to the fact that He exists and the evidence that Psa. 19 and Rom. 1 highlights. People in far-flung places in the world are not looking for a God who is hard to find. Not at all. Instead, they are running from a God who is blantantly obvious.

NewWhere to start...

Thu, 02/25/16

It’s interesting to watch how Jesus interacts with hardened unbelievers, sinners in the process of being drawn, and believers of weak faith. Each requires a different point of entry to the truth.

I lean toward the idea that more often than not, there is no need to point to evidence of God at all… simply start with what He has said and let God do what He will with that.

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.

I think I agree. Great point. Sola Scriptura.
