NewOne little caveat

Fri, 03/03/17

….is that I don’t believe I ought to call the ordinances of the Lord’s Supper and Immersion “means of grace”, but the central point he makes is well taken. We can get too smart by half at times, and we need to concentrate on what God calls us to do.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

NewMeans of Grace

Fri, 03/03/17

I may make a “Theology Thursday” excerpt out of the concept of the ordinances as a “means of grace.” I think the idea, properly understood, is very helpful. The actual term may not be as helpful.

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.
