NewNot that complicated

From what I’ve read, there is a concerted push to downplay the crimes committed by migrants, up to and including rape. If this is correct, then the solution to the problems is simple; enforce the law. You get caught doing a heinous crime, you have just gotten your ticket back to where you came from. Oh, you’ll get hurt? Tell that to your victims, buddy.

Education might be useful, too. When I was in Germany in 1989, I had a few chances to hear people who’d had been taught (often by the Americans) about what the Nazi regime had done, and I never, ever heard anyone say anything bad about it. Most were very grateful, actually. I don’t know if it would work with the new immigrants, but there is precedent.

NewHow do they tell each other apart? (light side)

I can see the Muslim predilection for naming sons after their prophet, but it strikes me that if the ~ 25000 Somalis in the state are driving “Mohamed” to the top of the name charts, people had better start learning kids’ last names to tell them apart. :^)
